Watch Spotting: Naomi Osaka Wins the U.S. Open While Wearing A Citizen

Osaka, who is a Citizen ambassador, is the first Japanese-born tennis player to win the singles championship of a Grand Slam tennis tournament. On her wrist throughout the match was the Eco-Drive Bluetooth BZ4006-01E (seen above). The watch’s 40.5mm case is made of Citizen’s proprietary Super Titanium with rose gold colored accents on the crown, pusher, and bezel. The movement is a light-powered Eco-Drive movement that can run for up to four years on a full charge and offers connectivity to smartphones via Bluetooth. While retaining the look of a traditional analog watch, it provides notifications for the wearer when he or she receives a call, a message, or a social media notification, plus you’ve got a handful of alarm and world time functions too.
