Found: James Bond’s Rolex Submariner From ‘A Licence To Kill’ Is Up For Auction

Carrying an estimate of £60,000 – £90,000 (approximately $80,000 – $120,000 as I write this), this 007 Submariner comes with the Rolex papers, various photos from the set of the film, a book about the production of the film, and a certificate of authenticity from EON Productions (the company that produced Licence to Kill). In the world of things that could be remembered from the ’80s, both the 5513 and Licence to Kill have held up pretty well (77% on Rotten Tomatoes, in case you were wondering), and it will be interesting to see how this watch performs when bidding opens on October 30.
