I don’t think anyone saw this coming, but damn, it’s cool. Just 30 minutes ago, Tudor sent out a release that as of tomorrow, you can purchase a Tudor Pelagos with the winding stem on the left! Yup, a destro Pelagos! On top of that, the watch uses the in-house MT5612 caliber, features a black dial and black ceramic bezel, and the word “Pelagos” in red.
On top of that, the watch itself is a “numbered edition,” something we haven’t seen from Tudor, well, ever, and from Rolex in decades. This means that the watch itself might not be a limited to any number of watches per year, but with each individual piece numbered on the case back, you can imagine not many will be made. Needless to say, a left-handed 500m titanium diver is not a watch for everyone, but for some, it will be everything.
The Pelagos LHD will retain its helium escape valve and all the goodies the Pelagos is is known for: diving strap with pin buckle, special bracelet with diver extension (with that amazing clasp!) included.
The Pelagos LHD in all its left-handed, titanium cased glory will be available in select retailers tomorrow for a price of $ 4,400. Quantities will be limited so call that AD right now if you want one.
