Breaking News: Stainless Steel Patek Philippe Ref. 1518 Sells For Over $11,000,000 At Phillips Geneva (And Sets A New World Record For ANY Wristwatch)

Ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at the most expensive wristwatch ever sold at auction. After months of anticipation, we finally have a result! The stainless steel Patek Philippe ref. 1518 perpetual calendar with chronograph sold tonight for 11,002,000 CHF (or $ 11,136,642) at Phillips in Geneva, inclusive of buyer’s fee. The bidding took place amongst more than seven bidders and the final hammer price was 9.6 million CHF.
