Patek Philippe watches have been sold in the United States since 1851. Today HSWA has 72 employees, including 31 watchmakers. It also supports the Patek Philippe Institute, an in-house watchmaking school founded in 2013.

Stern and Edelman hailed Pettinelli as “a loyal and valued employee.” He started as a salesman, became vice president in 2000, and president seven years later, succeeding Edelman, who moved up to chairman.
