Breaking News: Announcing The 2019 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève Jury

As for the awards, there are 19 total prizes given out, and they’re given based on two rounds of voting from the jury (first a preliminary round to determine finalists and then a final round just days before the ceremony). A few of these prizes are new, including the Iconic Watch Prize which will be awarded to “the best watch from an emblematic collection that has been exercising a lasting influence on watchmaking history” and the Diver’s Watch Prize for, you know, the best dive watch. These two prizes will be included amongst the Aiguille d’Or, Best High Complication, and the Calendar and Astronomy Watch prizes (amongst others). In order to win, nominees must submit their entries by June 21, 2019 with the winners being announced on November 7, 2019.  We’ll have plenty of coverage for you every step of the way.
