Now, for our money, if you’re going to go gold here you should go all the way and get the version of this watch with a matching solid gold dial. It gives the watch a seamlessness and coherence that is just incredible. Put it on your wrist and try not to smile – I dare you. If you want to tone things down a bit though you can opt for a deep blue Tapisserie dial instead. It’s every bit as good looking, just in a very different way. As you’d expect, both versions have matching date discs, so the color scheme remains unbroken top to bottom. Sure, either way you go this is a watch that requires some confidence to pull off, but if any wristwatch can give you that extra boost or put a little swagger in your step, this, my friends, is it.
