For the thirteenth consecutive year, Officine Panerai is sponsoring the largest international circuit of regattas reserved for classic yachts: the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge (PCYC). The first regatta is in Antigua and runs from April 19 to April 25, 2017. Ten regattas and five months later, the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge 2017 will end in Cannes. Naturally, special edition PCYC watches are in order. This year, however, Panerai has produced three special editions rather than than than the usual one. The watches are relevantly designed with nautical tachymeters (based on a knot scale rather than the typical km/h or mph which obviously make no sense for boat racing) and cream/tan dial and gold detailing which give them a vintage look. They look great.
